Rising from Within. The Seeds for Healing 

Cynthia (PLACE’s founding director) received the 2023-2024 YBCA Creative Corp Award for the collaborative project with the Korean Community Center of the East Bay (KCCEB). This initiative explores integrating her art-based healing program, PLACE, into KCCEB’s mental health services for Bay Area Asian refugees, underserved, and immigrant communities. This train-the-trainer series tailors workshop topics and formats to resonate with their populations.
